Descriptive Text

Descriptive text adalah teks yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan sesuatu (manusia, hewan, tumbuhan dan benda) secara khusus atau spesifik.

Goal: To describe something/ someone particularly.

Generic Structure dari Descriptive text adalah:

1. Identification: Berisi tentang penjelasan singkat dari apa yang akan di deskripsikan.

2. Description: Mendeskripsikan benda, satwa, tumbuhan dan manusia secara spesifik atau khusus.

Language features dari Descriptive text adalah:

1. Menggunakan simple present tense

2. Menggunakan kata yang spesifik atau tidak terlalu umum

3. Menggunakan adjective untuk mendeskripsikan sesuatu

Pembahasan

Membuat deskripsi tentang Rumahku dalam Bahasa Inggris:

1. This is my house. It is small. I like it because it  is nice.
2. The living room is small. The TV is very big.  The room is always clean and comfortable .
3. We have three bedrooms in our house. The bedrooms are quite small but comfortable. I like to spend most of my time in my bedroom.
4. We have two bathrooms. The bathrooms are big enough. It always clean. We clean it twice a week.
5. The last room is kitchen. My mother always prepare our food here. It is big and has a complete set of kitchen utensils.
